It’s not often that I get to put a sports car on our blog, but as a car fan, this story via Twitter caught my eye.
From Caritas Bucharest.
Start of Porsche places for children with disabilities
Porsche Romania joined as a partner with Caritas Bucharest to support activities for children with disabilities.
The Day Center for Children with Disabilities provides an annual total of 36 children with disabilities (mainly with Down’s syndrome, autism, etc.) services in the recovery and education, conducted by qualified personnel in the field of psychosocial techniques, using the latest methods and therapies in the field. The purpose of the center is to prevent abandonment, institutionalisation and social exclusion and to facilitate integration of the children in their school . Therapists, families and children are all work as a team to enhance the personal development of each child .
The funding awarded by Porsche Romania of 8000 Euros (£6600) will contribute to the operation and provision of furniture, therapeutic equipment and new spaces in dedicated recovery centers for children with disabilities, as well as supporting their therapeutic services.
We thank our partner, Porsche Romania , the involvement and trust.
After seeing this, I’ll certainly consider a Porsche as my next new car…
